How the Exams Work
The two CILT exams are taken online on the same day:
- Paper 1: Multiple Choice — 2 hours, pass mark 28/40
- Paper 2: Case Study — 2 hours 15 minutes, pass mark 30/60
- Both exams are taken online using CILT’s approved remote invigilation system
- Both exams must be passed to achieve the qualification
- Results are issued 6 weeks after the exam

Is the Transport Manager CPC course online?

How long is the course?

When are the exams?
There are two exams on the same day – a 2-hour multiple-choice paper and a 2.25-hour case study paper. Exam dates are aligned with the official CILT schedule and listed above. Results are issued 6 weeks from the exam date.
What if I fail an exam?
If you don’t pass one or both exams, you can retake them on a future CILT exam date. Our course materials remain a valuable resource to support your preparation.
