Day Two
- The role of the transport manager in preventative maintenance and ensuring roadworthiness
- Vehicle check procedures, tyre inspection and maintenance, defect reporting and rectification, maintenance plans and prohibition notices
- LGV only – driving licence categories, vehicle weights, overhang and special types operations
- PCV only – passenger safety, comfort, bus/coach features for disabled passengers, customer service, safeguarding, equality and diversity
